Cyber Bullying is thriving via mobile apps, chat, text, and even through email.  Parents need to constantly be vigilant and monitor Teen computer and phone use. 

Consequences can be massive with depression, anxiety, and even suicidal ideation on the rise.

Online Pornography is a constant problem for families.  States like Utah "banned" sexually explicit material without an age verification.  BUT...

Did you know teens can quickly bypass this ban and easily access sexually explicit material and even (Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) online?

Illegal Activities  such as drug dealing and meet ups for underage sex are coordinated by teens using standard text messaging (SMS) or an encrypted messaging service such as SnapChat or WhatsApp. 

Parents must not only monitor these applications, but restrict or delete them altogether if they are not being used correctly or are not necessary. 

Online video gaming is a playground for predators, pedophiles and other miscreants.  73% of teen gamers report being solicited from other massive multi-player gamers to trade sex pics or worse.  Once they have your child's explicit pic they can extort them (and you). 

Concerned parents frequently overlook video games when it comes to monitoring.  All quality video games now offer parental controls to prevent some of this predatory behavior. 

Generalized, Intense Anxiety is the number one issue highlighted by mental health experts in regards to our teens. 

Unreasonable parental and teacher expectations, combined with extreme stress over social media pressure and posts can cause many kids to start exhibiting PTSD type symptoms, the same as military veterans or police officers. 

Parents can intervene early if they are aware, they talk with their kids regularly and they monitor their electronic devices.
